Why rent an 8 seater?
When you travel with six, seven or eight people, two cars are not easy. You need two drivers, two fuel stops and two parking places, and the group is split on the road. An 8 seater van solves this. Everyone travels together, the bags go in the back, and the cost per person is lower.
The list above shows all our vehicles with 7 to 9 seats. They are part of our minivan and minibus rental category, which also has bigger minibuses for groups.
7, 8 or 9 seats: how to choose?
Think about two things: how many people, and how many bags.

7 seater or 9 seater rental "like a Vito"
Many people search for a "Vito 7 seater" or "Vito 9 seater". To be clear: we do not have a Mercedes Vito. We have vans of the same size:
- The Mercedes V-Class 7 seater (from 140 €/day), the premium van of the same Mercedes family, with very comfortable seats.
- The Opel Vivaro Combi 7 seater (from 95 €/day), the cheapest choice.
- The Renault Trafic L2 9 seater (from 110 €/day), when you need every seat.

A normal car licence is enough
In Morocco, a B licence lets you drive a vehicle with up to 9 seats including the driver (and up to 3.5 tonnes). So you can drive all the vans on this page with a normal car licence. For more than 9 seats you need a D licence. This is why our 14 to 18 seat minibuses come with a driver. Rules can change, so ask us if you are not sure.

Prices and conditions
Prices are per day, in euros: from 95 €/day for a 7 seater and from 110 €/day for the 9 seater. The 8 seat models start at 130 €/day (Hyundai Staria), 150 €/day (Renault Trafic Combi) and 190 €/day (Hyundai H1). The final price depends on the number of days, the season and the options (second driver, child seats, delivery). For several weeks, long-term rental can cost less. Ask us for a quote.
For eight people, one van often costs less per person than two small cars. You also pay for only one tank of fuel and one motorway toll.
Tips for driving a van in Morocco
- Size: a van is longer and higher than a car. Set the mirrors well and use the parking sensors or camera if the van has them.
- Parking: streets in old towns are very small. Park in a car park with a guard and walk.
- Speed limits: 60 km/h in town, 100 km/h on roads, 120 km/h on the motorway.
- Motorways have tolls. Casablanca to Marrakech is about 240 km, or 2 h 45.
- Breaks: with children or older people, stop about every two hours.
