These terms apply to every vehicle rental with Alliance Tours, with or without a driver. They add to the rental contract that you sign when you get the vehicle. If the two are different, the signed contract is the one that counts.

1. Driver

  • The driver must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving licence held for at least 2 years.
  • For some categories (luxury cars, sports cars, large SUVs), we may ask for an older driver and a licence held for more years. We tell you this before we confirm.
  • Only the drivers named in the contract can drive. You can add a second driver if he or she shows their documents.

2. Documents you must show

  • The original driving licence of each driver.
  • A valid national ID card or passport.
  • A bank card in the name of the main driver for the deposit.
  • We advise an International Driving Permit if your licence is not written in Latin letters.

3. Booking and payment

Your booking is final when Alliance Tours confirms it. The price we give you includes the rental for the agreed period, the basic insurance and the options we name. You pay the rest of the price at the latest when you get the vehicle, with one of the payment methods we tell you about when you book.

4. Deposit

We ask for a deposit at the start. We block it (pre-authorisation) on a bank card in the name of the main driver. The amount depends on the vehicle category, and we tell you the amount before we confirm. We free the deposit after you return the vehicle and we check its condition, the fuel, and that there are no traffic offences or unpaid costs. The time to free the money depends on your bank.

5. Getting and returning the vehicle

  • You get the vehicle at our offices in Casablanca centre, Mohammed V airport, Rabat or Mohammedia, or we deliver it to the address we agreed. There may be delivery and collection costs, depending on the city and the time.
  • We check the vehicle together with you, with photos, at the start and at the end. Please tell us at once about any problem that is not written in the check report.
  • You must return the vehicle at the place, date and time we agreed, in a normally clean state. We may charge you for special cleaning.

6. Late return and longer rental

Tell us as soon as possible if you will be late. After one hour of delay, we may charge one extra day of rental. If you want to keep the vehicle longer, contact us before the planned return date. A longer rental depends on availability and on our agreement. If you do not return a vehicle and we did not agree, we may report it to the authorities.

7. Fuel

We write the fuel level in the check report when we give you the vehicle. You must return it with the same level. If not, we charge you for the missing fuel plus a service fee. You must use the right fuel for the vehicle. If you use the wrong fuel, you pay for the costs.

8. Mileage

The number of kilometres included is written in the offer and in the contract. Unless we say otherwise, short rentals have unlimited kilometres. For long-term rentals, we may set a limit of kilometres. Above this limit, you pay for the extra kilometres at the price we give.

9. Insurance and responsibility

  • All our vehicles have the third-party insurance that is required by law in Morocco.
  • Damage to the vehicle is covered, but you pay an excess (the first part of the cost). The amount of the excess is in the contract. We may offer options to lower the excess.
  • Unless you take a special option, these are not covered: tyres, wheels, broken glass, the underside of the car, lost keys or documents, and damage inside the car.
  • All cover stops if the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if the driver is not named in the contract, in case of serious carelessness, if you drive off-road, or if you do not follow these terms. In these cases, you pay for all the damage.

10. Accident, theft and breakdown

If there is an accident, a theft or a breakdown, you must tell Alliance Tours at once. After an accident, you must fill in an accident report with the other driver. If this is not possible, you must get a report from the police or the gendarmerie. After a theft, you must report it to the authorities and give the keys back to us. Do not start any repair without our agreement.

11. Use of the vehicle

You must drive carefully and follow the highway code. In particular, you must not:

  • leave Morocco: crossing a border, also to Ceuta or Melilla, or taking a ferry to Europe, is not allowed;
  • drive off roads and good tracks, unless we agree in writing before;
  • rent the vehicle to another person, or carry passengers or goods for money;
  • take part in races, rallies or tests, pull a trailer or push another vehicle;
  • smoke in the vehicle, or carry animals without our agreement;
  • carry more passengers than the number of seats allowed.

12. Traffic offences and fines

You pay for all tickets, fines, towing costs and parking costs during the rental, also when we receive them after you return the vehicle. We may add an administration fee.

13. Rental with a driver

When you rent with a driver, only our driver drives the vehicle. The times, the route and any extra costs (tolls, fuel, and the driver's hotel and meals for trips of several days) are written in the quote.

14. Cancellation

The rules for cancelling or changing a booking are in our cancellation policy.

15. Applicable law

These terms follow Moroccan law. If there is a dispute and we cannot agree, the competent courts of Casablanca will decide.
